I thought that price seemed a little high then I realized it was in Maple Bucks. Still a little high I think but ooh not even any visible rust.

I bet it won’t last as long as this one as long as you can keep the rust at bay...these are what you still see all the time in Africa, especially the diesels because they just don’t die :P

I saw one of these for sale on Kijiji in Quebec once for $1500....it was a sedan in mint green, had only like 60k kms....was an auto though (sadly), but the ad said it was bought new by a now-elderly guy who had it all this time and was finally selling it.

Thing was in MINT shape and they lived in the middle of nowhere, hence the cheap price....I REALLY considered roadtripping there to get it and back considering the price...

You should have. Buy it, drive it until the novelty wore off, and then sell it for what you paid for it.

This one  is an obscure 80s diesel wagon so I think the price is really a good bit too high. But it is in good shape. So I don't know. I couldn't see any rust on it, but silver really turns me off.

It’s the cleanest one I’ve seen in a long time because they are pretty rare up here....not many left, despite being sold here!

Yeah, the mint green sedan was a lot prettier....I don’t mind the silver; really it’s the North American-spec quad round lights and the North-American spec MASSIVE BUMPERS OF DOOM that make it look not as nice....compared to:

Agreed. Euro light swap wouldn’t be too hard and bumpers, eh, I’d probably leave them. Not pretty but at least functional. Headlights are ugly and less functional. Bleh. 

But silver and interesting just don't mesh in my mind. I hope to never own a car that color. I just can't find myself not being sad when I drive a silver car because it just blurs any visual distinctness a car might have. I could show up in a silver 504 wagon one day and no one would notice. Show up in a green 504 wagon and you have something to talk about.

Silver / Grey is my least favourite car colour. I have yet to see a car I prefer it on. To the point that I waffle on how much I like the SS Delorean finish. There was that red one posted on here or maybe FP earlier this year... I might say I liked it more. And red’s not my thing much either.

Dark gray can look ok with a deep metallic flake.

The one rule of red is that you cannot make it the same color as the taillights. Never. Red is fine but I like deep and dark shades, preferably with a bit of orange and some bright metal flake.

I also hate the “Mercedes” gray, i like some dark ones but its usually what i like the least after plain white.

But to be fair, this 504 seems to be in very lightly blueish gray, the photos being overexposed, might be one of those blue :

Still, not the color that i would chose, would rather go for one of those :
